How to play

Dolia is a Support who can reset her allies' skill Cooldowns. By chaining Skill 2 into Skill 1 and her Ultimate, she creates a body of water that knocks enemies back while resetting the Cooldown of one skill for one ally.

While inside the water, Dolia becomes a mermaid and gains corresponding bonuses. Skill 1 deals damage and Slow to nearby enemies. Skill 2 dashes to a target location, creating a body of water while healing herself and nearby allies. The Ultimate resets the skill with the longest remaining Cooldown for one ally within range.

When leveling up your skills, prioritize the Ultimate, and when it isn't available, prioritize Skill 2.

Advanced tips

These tips are for players using Dolia who feel they can't pin enemies down well, or can't reset their allies' skills enough or at just the right timing. The reason it's hard to pin enemies down is that the fourth sound wave of Skill 1 has a delay, making it easy for enemies to dodge during a fight. If you want to play Dolia, it's important to learn the right combos and get a feel for the character. Also, because the Ultimate is most useful for resetting an ally's Ultimate, players tend to think of it that way so much that they end up using Dolia's own skills less often. This is something worth reviewing as you play.

Dolia's strengths are being able to knock back and Stun multiple enemies over a wide area with Skill 1, and her high early-game damage. In team fights she can keep enemy damage in check, and her Ultimate's skill reset is extremely powerful, producing surprising results when combined with a specific ally's Ultimate or other skills. To do this, it's important to understand your allies' play styles, combos, damage, Crowd Control, and protective skills well, and to reset at just the right timing in various situations.

On the attack, resetting damage skills during ambushes or surprise attacks lets you quickly finish off enemies together with your allies. When poking, it's good to reset an ally's long-range skills. In team fights, the basic approach is to focus on resetting the Ultimates of heroes like Lu Bu or Lady Zhen. On defense, resetting an ally's movement or protective skills as they retreat lets them leave the battlefield quickly. When you're at a disadvantage defending a tower, reset area-damage skills to clear minions quickly and stop the enemy's advance.

The skills that Dolia resets do not consume Energy or Mana when used. Note that long-duration skills usually can't be reset until their effect ends and they enter Cooldown. Conversely, if you reset a skill that can be stocked at the very last moment, your ally can effectively use that skill endlessly.

Well-timed combos can amplify Dolia's effectiveness. First use Skill 1, then dash to the enemy with Skill 2 just before the third sound wave ends, which lets you adjust Skill 1's control range and knock them back instantly. When facing an enemy alone, deal a bit of damage with Skill 1, reset Skill 1 with your Ultimate to use it again, then add more damage and control with Skill 2 before the third sound wave ends. This kind of combo, stacking multiple instances of damage and control, is good for cleaning up low-HP enemies. When being chased, advance with Skill 2, reset Skill 2 with your Ultimate to move again, and finally use Skill 1 for control to disrupt the enemy's pursuit.

The combo of casting Skill 1 in advance, using Skill 2 just before the third sound wave ends, Flashing behind the enemy, pushing them back with the fourth wave, and finally resetting an ally's skill with your Ultimate to finish them off together is effective when your team has no initiator, or when the enemy's key targets are pushed up to the front line. A combo you can use to escape or chase when you have no allies nearby is to advance with Skill 2, reset Skill 2 with your Ultimate while casting Skill 1 at the same time, use Skill 2 before the final sound wave fires, then Flash toward the enemy to deal damage and apply control.

Unlike other Supports, Dolia can raise an ally's maximum damage output with her Ultimate, so team composition is very important. Pairing her with poke-oriented allies like Mozi, Zhou Yu, or Gan & Mo lets the Ultimate's resets whittle down enemies quickly, break their formation, and keep their HP low. Pairing her with burst heroes like Yuhuan or Jing lets them keep dealing damage on the battlefield for a long time. Pairing her with allies who rely on their Ultimate, like Kaizer, Lu Bu, or Shangguan, lets you reset their Ultimate quickly to add more follow-up.

On the other hand, if the enemy has heroes with strong area Crowd Control like Guiguzi, Sun Bin, or Lian Po, the effectiveness of Dolia's Ultimate and her allies' skills drops. Against nimble enemies like Kongming, Marco Polo, or Han Xin, the hit rate of Dolia's and her allies' skills goes down. Also, since Dolia's protection for allies is limited, enemies with strong dashes and burst damage like Luban No.7 or Sima Yi make it hard to fully protect your team's key targets.

Skills (level values & ratios)

Passive: Mermaid's Gift:When entering a Water Zone (rivers also count as Water Zones), she enters Mermaid Mode, reduces slows applied to her by 50%, and restores 60 (60 + 1% of Bonus Magic ATK) HP and 5 MP every 1s. Basic attacks in Mermaid Mode splash water and deal AoE damage. Recall becomes Mermaid's Gift. She forms a Pact with a chosen ally, prioritizing the Pact partner when casting Celestial Melody. HP Restore 60〜120 / MP Restore 5〜10

Skill 1: Ode:Releases 4 waves of expanding sonic booms. The first 3 waves each deal 130 (130 + 20% of Magic ATK) Magic DMG and slow by 7.5%.

The 4th wave deals 250 (250 + 40% of Magic ATK) Magic DMG and slows by 30% for 1s.

When the final wave hits an enemy, it echoes, dealing 150 (150 + 24% of Magic ATK) Magic DMG to enemies touched. If cast in a Water Zone, it pushes nearby enemies away (knocking back and stunning them).

Against non-hero units, the echo range is smaller and damage dealt is 50%. CD (s) 12→10 / Waves 1-3 130→260 / 4th Wave 250→500 / MP Cost 50

Skill 2: Wavemaker:Leaps forward and enters Mermaid Mode. If she lands on the ground, creates a Water Zone, and on landing restores 320 (320 + 40% of Magic ATK) HP to allied heroes. Allies in the Water Zone recover HP and MP just as Doria does.

When cast in a Water Zone, the cooldown is reduced by 0.25%. CD (s) 12.5→10 / Base Heal 320→640 / CD Reduction 25%→50% / MP Cost 60

Ultimate: Celestial Melody:After a short cast, resets the longest-cooldown skill of one ally in the area, and her own Skill 3 becomes 10 (+120% of the ally's Skill 3).

If the ally does not cast the reset skill, Celestial Melody's cooldown is reduced by 20%. The ally can cast the reset skill within 5s with no MP cost, and shares any kill rewards from that skill with Doria.

The priority for resetting skills is: the Pact partner, then allies without a Pact, then Doria. If no skill can be reset, Celestial Melody's cooldown is greatly reduced. Base Cooldown 10→8 / Cooldown Recovery Speed 20%→40% / CD (s) 0 / MP Cost 100

Dolia — Early / Mid / Late Game

Early game:

Late game: 終盤:フルビルドが揃うと、公開ガイドが説明する強くなるタイミングに到達する。アイテムが完成すれば、長い戦闘ほどドリアに有利になる。
