How to play
Wukong is a highly mobile Assassin who finishes enemies off with burst damage. Every time he lands a skill, he gains one enhanced Basic Attack, so he fights by weaving Basic Attacks and skills together. His basic combo is two Basic Attacks, then Ultimate into a Basic Attack, and finally Skill 1, which strings together for a big chunk of damage.
Skill 1 nullifies one of the enemy's skills. Skill 2 leaps forward, and if it makes contact with an enemy he can leap once more. The Ultimate deals damage to enemies in range while knocking them up. For skill leveling, prioritize the Ultimate first, and when you can't take the Ultimate, prioritize Skill 1.
Skills (level values & ratios)
Passive: The Great Sage:When a skill is cast, the next basic attack is enhanced. The enhanced basic attack charges at the target, dealing 648 (475 + 100% of Physical ATK) Physical DMG. This damage always deals a critical hit.
Sun Wukong's base Crit Rate is 20%, but his Crit DMG is 150%. Base Damage 475〜615
Skill 1: Protective Shroud:Begins channeling a protective ward that can block one enemy skill. The ward lasts up to 1.5s. On successfully blocking an enemy skill, he gains 0.2s of invincibility and an 859 (600 + 150% of Physical ATK + 15% of Bonus HP) shield for 4s.
Casting the skill increases his own Move Speed by 40% for 1s. CD (s) 12→10 / Bonus Shield 600→1200 / MP Cost 65
Skill 2: Furious Advance:Charges in the designated direction; on contact with a target along the path, uses the momentum to jump, increasing Move Speed by 90% for 1s (decaying over time). Using a basic attack or skill cancels the jump.
Against wildlife (monsters), deals an additional 274 (+20% of Physical ATK) True DMG. Monsters below 15% HP are instantly executed (excluding "Overlord" and Tyrant). CD (s) 6→5 / Damage to Monsters 240→340 / MP Cost 45
Ultimate: Golden Cudgel:Slams the Golden Cudgel into the ground, dealing 250 (250 + 80% of Bonus Physical ATK) Physical DMG to enemies in the area and knocking them up for 1.5s.
Applies 3 stacks of a Mark to enemies in the area. When a basic attack hits a marked enemy, it consumes 1 stack and deals an additional 270 Physical DMG. CD (s) 35→25 / Base Damage 250→500 / Mark Damage 270→540 / MP Cost 100
Wukong — Early / Mid / Late Game
Early game: In the early game you rely heavily on skill burst, so take the blue buff first at the start. In addition to Mana regen, it also reduces Cooldown. After clearing jungle, watch for lane support opportunities and the enemy Jungler's position, and either go hunt the Tyrant or stake out the enemy Jungler to ambush them.
Mid game: The mid game is a phase of frequent teamfights. Use your mobility to target the enemy's damage dealers, or hide in a bush and enter mid-fight to finish them off. If there's no opening, use your mobility to escape, clear the wave, and stop the enemy from pushing your tower.
Late game: In the late game both sides are nearly fully built, and since your damage to Tanks is low, it's best to target squishy enemies. Watch enemy positions and either wait in a bush first, or pair with the Support during a moment when the enemy is split-pushing to catch a squishy target and create a teamfight advantage.
