How to play

Sun Ce is a Fighter with many Crowd Control skills who can quickly close in on enemies and initiate team fights. In lane, by chaining Skill 1 into a Basic Attack, then Skill 2 and four Basic Attacks, you can burst out damage all at once and win duels.

Sun Ce gains an enhanced Basic Attack at regular intervals, and gains Armor when he takes damage or lands a skill. Skill 1 dashes forward and, after a short delay, knocks enemies up. Skill 2 slashes multiple times to deal damage. With the Ultimate he sails a ship, and any enemy he hits while sailing is knocked up and takes damage.

For your skill leveling, prioritize the Ultimate first, and at levels where the Ultimate isn't available yet, prioritize Skill 2.

Skills (level values & ratios)

Passive: Raging Tide:Every 6 seconds, the next basic attack is enhanced. The enhanced basic attack deals an additional 209 (110+60% of Physical ATK) Physical Damage and restores 104 (55+30% of Physical ATK) +3% of Missing HP.

Each time he takes Physical/True Damage or a skill hits an enemy, gains 1 stack of the Unyielding effect (up to 10 stacks), and each stack increases his own Physical DEF by 16-32 for 6 seconds. Bonus Damage 110〜250 / HP Restore 55〜125 / Physical DEF Increase 16〜32

Skill 1: Wave Render:Dashes in the designated direction, dealing 125 (125+45% of Physical ATK) Physical Damage to enemies along the path. When dashing to the maximum distance, deals 399 (250+90% of Physical ATK) Physical Damage to enemies within range. After a set time, deals additional Physical Damage in the same area and knocks up for 1 second. CD (s) 8→7 / Path Damage 125→250 / AoE Damage 250→500 / MP Cost 40

Skill 2: Typhoon:Steps forward, knocking away enemies within range and dealing 250 (180+70% of Physical ATK) Physical Damage, applying 1 stack of Slow. This effect stacks up to 3 times, with each stack reducing Move Speed by 15% for 2 seconds. This skill can be cast 3 times before entering cooldown, and each cast increases Physical Damage by 25%.

When cast, the basic attack is reset. CD (s) 9→6 / Base Damage 180→490 / Slow 15%→30% / MP Cost 55

Ultimate: Set Sail!:Sets sail on a ship in the designated direction for 12 seconds. While sailing, gains Super Armor and gradually increases Move Speed. The ship deals 549 (350+120% of Physical ATK) Physical Damage to enemy minions or monsters other than large monsters and knocks them back.

While sailing, casting the skill again in the designated direction lets him disembark at the designated position. The ship explodes if it hits a wall, tower/crystal, large monster, or enemy hero, or before the sailing time ends. The explosion deals 549 (350+120% of Physical ATK) Physical Damage to enemies within range and knocks them up for 1-1.5 seconds (proportional to the time sailed). If the ship's explosion hits an enemy, gains 5 stacks of the Unyielding effect.

When Sun Ce docks the ship, allied heroes near the ship can tap a button to board as passengers and sail. If a passenger casts a movement skill, takes hard CC, or if Sun Ce disembarks, the passenger also disembarks. CD (s) 40→30 / Base Damage 350→700 / MP Cost 100

Sun Ce — Early / Mid / Late Game

Early game: Early on, once you finish clearing your lane, actively rotate to support allies and gank, and when you gain an advantage be the first to push the tower to take resources and widen the gold lead. Skill 2 is strong in lane, and weaving in Basic Attacks while casting it maximizes the damage.

Mid game: From the mid game on, your target is the enemy backline. Sun Ce excels at cutting the backline; as long as you can get close, combining Skill 1 with a Stun lets you finish them off. Skill 1 can be used through walls, and you can also do a dash that changes your landing spot with Flash.

Late game: In the late game, if an enemy pushes a lane alone, you can take one ally aboard the ship (Ultimate) and go catch that enemy. In the very late game you can also use the active effect of Sky Vault to pass through walls and launch a surprise attack.
