How to play

Yuhuan is a Mage who combines healing with damage over time. By chaining Skill 2 into Skill 1 and Basic Attack, she can poke enemies effectively. Skill 2 can be toggled between either enhanced damage or healing.

Skill 1 grants an enhanced Basic Attack and deals damage and a Slow to nearby enemies. Skill 2 grants a speed boost and, after a short delay, Stuns enemies. The Ultimate makes her untargetable after a short delay, dealing damage while healing allies. For skill leveling, prioritize the Ultimate first, and when you can't take the Ultimate, prioritize Skill 1.

Advanced tips

When playing Yuhuan, you'll often feel like your damage is lacking, your Crowd Control is unreliable, or you get burst down too easily. Each of these has a reason. Low damage comes from poor farming and from leaning on skills for poking while underrating the damage of her enhanced Basic Attacks. Crowd Control is hard to land because Skill 2 is a circular skillshot that requires precise positioning and timing. You go down easily because of a weak grasp of matchups, plus the fact that the Ultimate can't be used instantly while you're under Crowd Control, and you need to mind your position while it's on Cooldown.

Yuhuan switches between two modes, the blue ring and the green ring, using her battle melody. In blue, you poke the lane enemy with Skill 2, Skill 1, and Basic Attacks, saving the Ultimate to secure escapes or kills. In green, you focus on team fights, using Skill 2 and Skill 1 to give allies sustained healing while saving the Ultimate for big group heals. Since the Ultimate and Passive can heal minions too, using skills near minions lets you poke enemies while keeping minions and allies alive to push the high ground.

The combo basics are using the Ultimate and Skill 2 at the same time to chase or escape while keeping your distance from the enemy. When engaging, combine Skill 2 with Flash to overlap its outer edge on the enemy, reliably landing Crowd Control to go for kills with your allies. Since Skill 1 and Skill 2 have short Cooldowns, stock an enhanced Basic Attack with Skill 1, then use Skill 2, an enhanced Basic Attack right after, Skill 1, and another enhanced Basic Attack. By the time the Ultimate's cast finishes, Skill 1's Cooldown is back, so you can add even more damage with another Skill 1 and Basic Attack. If the enemy ends up too far or too close after Skill 2, use Flash to line the ring up on them and continue the combo. When chasing a low-HP enemy while avoiding lethal damage, chain Skill 1 into Skill 2 and an enhanced Basic Attack to clear out nearby low-HP enemies while pulling away from the center of the fight.

In the early game her damage is low, so prioritize clearing the lane and supporting allies. Help your allies' Crowd Control with the Slow from Skill 1 and the Stun from Skill 2. In the mid game, switch to the blue ring and poke with Skill 2, Skill 1, and enhanced Basic Attacks while waiting for a kill opportunity. When the team pushes, switch to the green ring to support your allies. In the late game, with full items Yuhuan's burst is very high, so avoid fighting alone. In team fights, stay hidden and chip away at enemy HP with sustained poke, and once they're worn down enough, engage with the Ultimate and Flash to secure kills.

Yuhuan is a hero whose strength scales with the allies she pairs with. Teaming up with sustain-heavy allies like Sun Bin or Dolia lets Sun Bin's Skill 2 or Dolia's skill refresh boost Yuhuan's kiting, survivability, and damage. Against enemies whose Ultimate is their main damage, like Lady Zhen, Mozi, Nuwa, and Shi, she can dodge the attack with her own Ultimate, land a Stun with Skill 2, and counter to finish them off more easily. On the other hand, against tanks with sustained healing or team-fight healing, like Wuyan, Dr Bian, and Ata, it becomes harder for her to deal lethal damage.

Yuhuan — Early / Mid / Late Game

Early game: A team-oriented hero who needs to farm; she has a high Magic Attack ratio but isn't very strong early. Unlike other Mages, once her items are complete she can provide both output and healing to the team at the same time.

Mid game: Her strength lies in powerful sustained combat. Anyone facing off against Yuhuan needs to commit to a fight decisively and without hesitation.

Late game: Once she enters her "performance time" on the battlefield, her powerful healing can turn a losing situation around all at once. Her skills simply need a click to take effect, so the operation isn't complex; the key is managing your distance to enemies and allies and concentrating on positioning.
