How to play

Arke is an Assassin with excellent cleanup power. With a combo of Ultimate into two Basic Attacks and Skill 1, she quickly closes in on fragile enemies and finishes them off. Attacks from the front don't Critical, but attacks from behind always Critical.

Skill 1 deals damage with two consecutive attacks. Skill 2 advances and attacks, placing a mark on the enemy. Hitting a marked enemy Stuns them and reduces the Cooldown of Skill 2. The Ultimate grants stealth, a Movement Speed boost, and healing. Breaking stealth empowers her attack, and getting involved in a kill resets the Cooldowns of all her skills.

Prioritize leveling the Ultimate, and at levels where it isn't available yet, prioritize Skill 1.

Advanced tips

When playing Arke, you'll often run into problems like not being able to land attacks, not having enough damage, or struggling to find your rhythm. The reason you can't land hits is that the dash distance of Skill 2 and the Ultimate is short, so your timing and precision directly determine whether you connect. When your damage feels lacking, you may not be making full use of the Passive that turns every attack from behind into a Critical. As for rhythm, rather than going for solo kills, it's easier to find your groove by roaming the lanes with matchups in mind and playing to assist your teammates.

For basic play, Arke fights at close range using her high Movement Speed and healing. Build your damage around Skill 1 and Basic Attacks, use Skill 2 when you want to Pull an enemy in, and use the Ultimate either to start a team fight or to escape. Healing increases the more Energy you have, so it's most effective to use your healing skill at full Energy, and carrying Iodine Phoenix boosts the healing even further. The effective range of Skill 2 is wider than it appears on screen, so it can even Pull enemies on the edge; by taking a position from the side, you can extend the Pull distance further. The Crowd Control from the Ultimate has the property of triggering before other effects, so you can also use it to cancel an enemy's charge skills or forcibly drag back enemies with dashes.

In the early game, focus on steady farm while using your Passive and Skill 1 to chip away and poke. Break open the lane with solo kills or teamwork with allies, and once you've pushed the minions in, use teleport to fly to other lanes and help your teammates. The mid game is a phase where small-scale team fights happen frequently. Secure steady farm and pushing through lane swaps, and once you've pushed the minions, fly to other lanes to ambush and expand your advantage. During this period the enemy carries don't have their gear fully set up yet, so look for chances to circle around from the side and finish them off. In the late game, Arke is weak to Crowd Control and team fights, so avoid diving in first. The ideal is to let your allies engage, then circle outside their vision to wipe out the enemy damage dealers from the side or behind and turn the fight around. Diving in to Immobilize right after the enemy uses an important skill is also effective.

Her basic combo is to dash with the Ultimate while applying a Taunt, Pull the enemy in with Skill 2, deal damage alongside your allies with Skill 1 and Basic Attacks, and when Skill 1 comes back up, fire it again to finish. To engage from a distance, use the Ultimate into Flash to land long-range Crowd Control, then chain into Skill 2, Skill 1, and Basic Attacks. When mopping up low-HP enemies, approach the enemy while firing Skill 2 backward, dive toward them with the Ultimate, and the moment you land, release Skill 1 to hit all three skills at once and finish them.

It's also important for Arke to read both your team's and the enemy's composition. Pairing with an ally who has strong Crowd Control, like Lian Po, lets you leave the engaging and tanking to them so Arke can focus on cleanup. Enemies who lack Crowd Control or immediate damage, like Garo or Kongming, have limited ways to fight back when Arke engages. On the other hand, enemies with a Passive that reveals stealth, like Sima Yi, can track Arke's movements accurately, and an enemy like Wei Yan whose Ultimate lights up the surrounding area makes it hard to dive in while stealthed.

Skills (level values & ratios)

Passive: Kiss of Death:Attacking an enemy from the front does not deal a critical hit, but attacking from behind always deals a critical hit. Initial critical damage is 125%, and critical damage increases by 0.5% for each 1% of Crit Rate. Attacking non-hero units from the front increases damage by 20%, and damage against non-hero units is capped at 2000.

Skill 1: Arclight:Attacks twice with dual blades, each attack dealing 150 (150 + 65% of bonus Physical ATK) physical damage. Base Damage 150→250 / CD (s) 4→3

Skill 2: Untouchable:Blinks forward and attacks 1 enemy near the destination, dealing 370 (270 + 85% of bonus Physical ATK) physical damage and applying a mark for 10s. Additionally increases own Attack Speed by 40% for 3s.

Attacking a marked enemy reduces their Move Speed by 25% for an additional 3s and reduces the cooldown of "Untouchable" by 1s. Damage taken from marked enemies is reduced by 30%.

Only 1 enemy can be marked at a time. Base Damage 270→540 / Slow 25%→50% / CD (s) 9→7

Ultimate: Phantom Dance:After a short windup, becomes stealthed for 4s. While stealthed, restores 150 (150 + 25% of bonus Physical ATK + 0.5% of bonus HP) HP every 0.5s and increases Move Speed by 40%.

Attacking breaks stealth and increases Physical ATK by 120 for 3s; each time damage is dealt to an enemy, Move Speed increases by 30% for 1s.

Bap: Killing or assisting in killing a hero resets all skill cooldowns. Bonus Attack 120→160 / HP Restore 150→300 / CD (s) 20→16

Arke — Early / Mid / Late Game

Early game: Play it safe and farm steadily up to level 4. After level 4, take advantage of the Ultimate's short Cooldown and HP healing to repeatedly gank fragile enemies, aiming for kills and zoning pressure.

Mid game: His rotations are very efficient. Use the Ultimate's stealth and Movement Speed boost to dive into the fight, and Skill 2's movement to instantly get behind enemies and attack. Deal your damage from behind the enemy whenever possible to maximize Critical hits.

Late game: In team fights, never dive in first. The best time to strike is when your frontline has CC'd the enemy and a low-HP target appears. Choosing the right target and timing your engage are key: pick off the fragile backline as fast as possible first, and after a kill or assist, use the Ultimate to escape or to engage again.
