Wireless Earphones (Low-Latency Mode)
No cable, but always some delay.
What it changes
Wireless re-encodes and re-sends the audio, so delay is built in. Game modes and low-latency codecs shrink it but never remove it. Anything where you time your move off a sound — hearing footsteps and deciding whether to walk into the brush — gives up a step against wired. On the other hand, if you spend a lot of time watching guide videos, having no cable is simply nicer.
What to look at
Look for a stated game or low-latency mode, and check the codecs. Quoted latency figures are not measured consistently, so comparing numbers across brands is unreliable. In congested RF environments, dropouts will bother you long before latency does. If timing off audio matters to you, wired is the straightforward answer; owning both and switching is the realistic middle.
