Headphone Adapter
Lets you keep using wired earphones on a phone with no headphone jack.
What it changes
Many phones dropped the 3.5 mm jack, so wired earphones need a USB-C or Lightning adapter. The conversion adds far less delay than going wireless, so the wired advantage largely survives. If you want to charge and listen at the same time, you need a splitter type.
What to look at
Whether it has a built-in DAC changes the sound (without one, the phone has to support analogue output). Match the connector to your device, and get a splitter if you charge while playing. Unnecessary if your phone still has a 3.5 mm jack, or if you buy USB-C earphones directly.
