Screen Protector (Matte / Anti-Glare)
Changes how your finger slides, and how readable the screen is outdoors.
What it changes
Glossy film and glass slide well when dry, then grab the moment sweat or skin oil gets on them. A matte (anti-glare) finish has a fine texture, so the feel stays roughly the same as your hands warm up. The other half is reflections: under lights or outdoors a glossy screen mirrors your face and the ceiling, which is exactly when the dark brush and the minimap in the corner get hard to read. Anti-glare scatters that reflection.
What to look at
Anti-glare trades a little clarity for the lack of reflections — the picture goes slightly milky and small text softens. If you spend a lot of time reading skill descriptions, you may notice. Glass feels harder under the finger; film is thinner and softer. If you also use finger sleeves, you do not need the most aggressive matte finish. Re-applying is a fight with dust and bubbles, so leave it alone if your current swipes feel fine.
