接触形態形成(thigmomorphogenesis)
意味
Thigmomorphogenesis is the response of plants to mechanical sensation, such as wind or raindrops, by altering their growth patterns. It generally results in common morphological variation among plants without phylogenesis. For example, reduced stature and increased thickening of the stem can prevent stem failure by reducing aerodynamic drag or by increasing mechanical strength.
